    While pursuing my PhD, I had the honor of learning from world-class anatomy educators at Indiana University School of Medicine. This experience changed the trajectory of my career, and I began teaching within anatomical science, bone biology, and cell biology courses for the final 3 years of my PhD. As a more recent student, I integrate concepts and techniques that were successful in my own scholastic career into my educational strategies to provide a unique perspective on teaching. My research areas of interest include incorporation of active learning approaches into the curriculum of previously unexplored populations (such as graduate students) and assessment of these approaches in comparison to traditional didactic curriculum.
