LONINGFULONING FU0.000000000000000.000000000000003646FU, LONINGCancer prevention and treatment, Circadian rhythm, Obesity-related liver cancerLoning Fu received a Bachelor’s degree in cell biology in Peking University and a Master degree in developmental biology in Academia Sinica in Beijing, China. She then completed Ph.D studies at the University of Calgary, Canada and two postdoctoral fellowships in the University of Toronto in Canada and Baylor College of Medicine in the United States, respectively. Her Ph.D and first post-doctoral studies discovered the role of translational control of gene expression in early development, tumor suppression, and DNA damage response. Her second post-doctoral studies discovered the role of the mammalian circadian gene Period 2 in DNA damage response, cell cycle control, and tumor suppression. Her research as an independent researcher is focused on the role of chronic circadian disruption in obesity, metabolic syndrome, and non-alcoholic fatty-liver disease (NAFLD)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and the role of circadian homeostasis in the future precision oncology.Associate Professorprns:coAuthorOfcoauthor ofprns:endDateend dateFaculty Rankprns:fullNamefull nameprns:grantAwardedBygrant awarded byprns:hasAuthorListauthor listprns:hasFacultyRankhas faculty rankprns:hasNetworkhas networkprns:hasPublicationVenuepublished inprns:informationResourceReferenceinformation resource referenceprns:isPrimaryPositionis primary positionprns:latitudelatitudeprns:longitudelongitudeprns:mainImagephotoprns:maxWeightmaximum weightprns:mediaLinksmedia linksprns:medlineTAjournal title abbreviationprns:meshDescriptorUIMeSH DescriptorUIprns:meshSemanticGroupNameMeSH semantic group nameprns:minWeightminimum weightprns:numberOfAuthorsnumber of authorsprns:numberOfConnectionsnumber of connectionsprns:numberOfPublicationsnumber of publicationsprns:personIdPerson IDprns:personInPrimaryPositionperson in primary positionprns:physicalNeighborOfphysical neighborprns:positionInDepartmentposition in departmentprns:positionInDivisionposition in divisionprns:predicateNodepredicate nodeprns:principalInvestigatorNameprincipal investigator nameprns:publicationDatepublication dateprns:similarTosimilar toprns:sortOrdersort orderprns:startDatestart dateprns:trainingAtOrganizationeducational organizationprns:trainingLocationtraining locationprns:uniquenessWeightuniqueness weightprns:yearyearAcademic ArticleArticleDocumentbibo:pmidPubMed IdentifierAddressvivo:address1address line 1vivo:addressCitycityvivo:addressPostalCodepostal codevivo:addressStatestate or provinceAgreementvivo:authorInAuthorshipselected publicationsvivo:authorRankauthor rank in publicationAuthorshipvivo:degreeEarneddegree earnedDepartmentDivisionvivo:educationalTrainingeducation and trainingEducational Trainingvivo:freetextKeywordkeywordsGrantvivo:hasResearchArearesearch areasvivo:hasResearcherRoleresearch activitiesvivo:hrJobTitleHR job titleInformation Resourcevivo:linkAnchorTextlink anchor textvivo:linkedAuthorlinked authorvivo:linkedInformationResourcelinked information resourcevivo:mailingAddressmailing addressvivo:overviewoverviewvivo:personInPositionpositionsPositionvivo:positionInOrganizationposition in organizationvivo:preferredTitlepreferred titleResearcher Rolevivo:researcherRoleOfresearcher role ofRolevivo:roleContributesTocontributes tovivo:sponsorAwardIdsponsor award idURLLinkvivo:webpagewebpagerdf:predicatepredicaterdf:typetyperdfs:labellabelConceptAgentfoaf:firstNamefirst namefoaf:lastNamelast nameOrganizationPersonAuthorship 179621GeneticsSurgical OncologyMD AndersonGUILLERMINALOZANOGUILLERMINA LOZANO8500LOZANO, GUILLERMINAProfessorJEAN NICOLASVAUTHEYJEAN NICOLAS VAUTHEY8766VAUTHEY, JEAN NICOLASProfessorAuthorship 715001Authorship 859081Authorship 950015Authorship 306001626166747Kettner NM, Mayo SA, Hua J, Lee C, Moore DD, Fu LCell metabolismCircadian Dysfunction Induces Leptin Resistance in Mice.
