Dr. Betty Del Rio Rodriguez is a board-certified pediatrician and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, with a clinical and academic home in the Section of Academic General Pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital. She serves as Medical Director of the Pasadena Pediatric and Adolescent Health Center and leads the Troubleshooters for Health Immunization Program at Harris Health, where she champions access to high-quality care for underserved pediatric populations.

Her scholarly interests include pediatric mental health, parenting, telemedicine, and health equity. Dr. Del Rio Rodriguez has led and contributed to multiple funded research projects, including studies on behavioral screening, telemedicine access, and digital otoscope innovation. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored chapters in pediatric and psychiatry education texts.

A dedicated educator, she mentors pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students, and has received multiple teaching awards for her leadership in curriculum development and clinical training. She is fluent in Spanish and actively engages in community outreach through media and public health education.
