    Having recently retired from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, where he served as Science and Technology Adviser to the Director, Dr. Sherwood continues his professional activities, consulting on objective measurement of motor control in humans after spinal cord injury, and serving as the Executive Director of the new International Society for Restorative Neurology
