Dr. Avo Artinyan has comprehensive training and ample expertise in basic research and in clinical surgical oncology focusing on minimally-invasive/robotic GI surgical oncology and clinical outcomes research.
In 2009, Dr. Artinyan joined the Department’s Division of Surgical Oncology and his practice is at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center where he has helped develop the Robotic Colorectal Cancer Surgery Program.
Dr. Artinyan also directs the Department's Surgical Simulation Laboratory.
